Terms and Conditions



1.1 My Married Name Change is a department of The Budget Bride Company: The Budget Bride Company Limited (Registered Company Number: 7849464).

The Client is the person(s) requesting a service from The Budget Bride Company via the mymarriednamechange.com website.

The Agreement represents the contract between The Budget Bride Company and the Client, authorising The Budget Bride Company to proceed with the providing the service.

The Package is the service option that the Client has chosen to purchase from My Married Name Change.

It will be deemed that by authorising The Budget Bride Company to proceed with providing the name change service, these Terms and Conditions have been accepted by the Client.

1.2 The Agreement is subject to these Conditions which supersede all previous communications, representations and agreements whether written or oral. No additions or alterations to the Agreement or to the Conditions shall be binding unless previously agreed to in writing and signed by a duly authorised representative of The Budget Bride Company. These Conditions including any additions or alterations thereto carried out in accordance with the provisions of this paragraph shall alone govern the Agreement and all terms and conditions proposed by the Client are hereby excluded and do not form part of this Agreement.

2 Procedure

2.1 On acceptance of these Conditions, an Agreement between the Client and The Budget Bride Company will be deemed to have been made and will be governed by these Conditions.

2.2 The Budget Bride Company will provide the service dictated by the package that the Client has chosen.

2.3 All Clients will receive a personalised name change pack by email upon payment, which will be sent immediately to the Client’s specified email address. Standard packages will include ready to print at home letters and faxes where these are necessary to advise the companies and organisations chosen. Deluxe packages will also include printed letters and faxes with matching envelopes sent to the Client’s chosen address within seven working days of payment received by The Budget Bride Company.

2.4 The fees applicable to each level of service package do not change regardless of the number of companies and organisations chosen by the Client.

2.5 Letters and faxes are included within your pack for standard packages (print at home) and deluxe packages (print outs sent in post). All companies and organisations have been personally contacted by The Budget Bride Company to establish their name change requirements – these may include but not be limited to email, website based form, fax, telephone or post. My Married Name Change will advise the Client on the best way to advise each of the companies and organisations they have chosen. Where the method of advising the company is email, website based form or telephone, then this will be stated within the Client’s personalised name change pack and no further documentation will be included for Standard and Deluxe packages in terms of letters or faxes to post.

2.6 Gift cards follow the same package details as stated in section 2 of these terms. Gift cards are sent by email for no additional charge. Gift cards will be sent by email as soon as the payment has been processed.

3 Refunds

3.1 Where the Client is not satisfied with the service they have received, The Budget Bride Company asks for an email to be sent describing the reason for the dissatisfaction to customerservice@mymarriednamechange.com within 30 days of purchase. The Budget Bride Company will issue a full refund when the above terms have been met. The Budget Bride Company reserve the right to refuse requests for refunds.

4 Force majeure

4.1 The Budget Bride Company shall have no liability to the Client under the Agreement if it is prevented from or delayed in performing its obligations under the Agreement or from carrying on its business by acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond its reasonable control, including strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes (whether involving the workforce of The Budget Bride Company or any other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, acts of terrorism riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of The Budget Bride Company’s sub-contractors.

5 Currency

5.1 All rates quoted are in GBP.

6 Governing law and jurisdiction

6.1 The Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

6.2 The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with the Agreement or its subject matter.

7 Exclusion of any clause or clauses

7.1 If any clause in the Agreement is held by any Court, Tribunal or other official body to be unfair, the individual clause or clauses shall be deleted from the contract created between The Budget Bride Company and the Client. This is strictly without prejudice to all other clauses within the Agreement.

8. Complaint

8.1 The client must inform The Budget Bride Company of any complaints in writing within 28 days of purchase. The Budget Bride Company will use reasonable endeavours to satisfy and resolve the complaint and reserve the right to reject any complaint.
